Direct-to-fabric ink refers to a type of ink specially formulated to be printed directly onto textiles or fabrics without the need for any additional treatments like heat transfer or dye sublimation. This printing method is commonly used in the textile industry for creating custom designs on t-shirts, apparel, home textiles, and more.
Direct-to-fabric ink can be applied using different printing techniques, such as inkjet printing or screen printing. These inks are designed to bond with the fibers of the fabric, ensuring good color saturation, durability, and washability. Take note that standard home or office inkjet printers are not suitable for using DTF ink as it will damage the printer. DTF inks requires special DTF printers.
